Brand describes that this is ultra pigmented formula which is light weight, have semi matte finish and doesn't dry out.
This lip cream comes in round plastic tube which have wide bottom and wide black cap. The packaging is very similar to Clazona 24 hours matte lip gloss. It comes with doe foot brush applicator which is perfect to apply the product on lips. The texture of this lip cream is thick and mousse like which is also similar to NYX lip creams. There is very light vanilla smell to it which fade after application.
The color Mai Tai is medium brown shade with peach hint to it. It is a lovely every day neutral shade and will compliment almost all skin tones. The pigmentation is quite good as well and in single swipe you can get fully opaque color. The application is very smooth and it applies evenly without tugging. It doesn't instantly dry out and gives you enough time to apply and adjust on lips. After few minutes it dries into semi matte finish. The formula is non drying and is not moisturizing as well.
Once it dries down, it feels very light weight on lips and doesn't settle into lip lines. As it has creamy formula, it does transfer a little but it is less then NYX lip creams. There is no patchiness or flakiness while it fades and if during eating some of it fades from inside lips, i simply rub the lips and it looks even again which is huge point for me. The lasting power is almost 4 to 5 hours without eating or drinking.
Overall i really liked this formula which is exact dupe of NYX lip creams and is even slightly better. I would definitely be picking more colors in it. if you are looking for budget friendly lip creams, City Color creamy lips are your best option.
