Rimmel London Provocalips 16Hr Kissproof Lip Colour - Review and Swatches

Long lasting lip products are one thing every one is running behind and i am not an exception. Despite the fact that i have dry lips and love wearing creamy and moisturizing lip products, still i cannot deny my love for long lasting matte or creamy ones and keep looking and trying a new product which fits in this category. Rimmel London had introduced Provocalips range with 13 shades which have an interesting concept behind it and i have picked the shade Wish Upon A Berry to try. Let me share my thoughts how did i find it.
My Thoughts
This two in one lip color have dual ended doe foot applicator. One side have lip color in tube and other side have clear top coat. The texture of lip color is creamy and bit of sticky while the top coat have smooth creamy formula. The pigmentation of lip color is intense and you need only one coat to get opaque coverage.

The color wish upon a berry is kind of strange shade. As it was added in the range later so it has less online swatches. I thought it would be medium berry brown shade and it does look in the tube but on application it is complete different story. On lips it looks light pink mauve shade with no hint of brown in it. I don't know about other shades but the tube doesn't represent the original color. You might be thinking this is no shade for fair medium skins but on the contrary i loved it. I never worn or had such shade in my possession before and i am glad i got it even by mistake.

Once you apply the lip color wait for at least 1 minute before applying the top coat. The lip color feels little sticky on lips so try not to rub the lips not because it effect the color but feels tacky and uneasy. So keep in mind it is not like you can get away with only one step you have to complete the step 2. Once you feel the formula is dried, apply the top coat and the procedure is complete. The clear top coat not only adds a bit of shine but also provide comfort to lips. This clear gloss does dry through out the day so if you want to keep your lips bit glossy you can reapply it again.

Now here comes the longevity of the lip color and let me tell you it doesn't go any where through out the day. It doesn't flake, budge and can survive eating and drinking. However oily food can make little product to fade from inside the lips but that is a proof it can be removed with oil based makeup remover. It is completely transfer proof and even after applying clear gloss there is not bit of color comes with the white applicator on top of that it is extremely comfortable on lips and doesn't dry them out.

Overall I really loved using this lip colour, it is highly pigmented with insane long lasting power and feels very comfortable on lips.
