NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator in Gleam
This product comes in soft plastic tube with black screw cap. The packaging represents the shade of product inside. The shade Gleam is peachy bronze shade with very fine shimmer in it. The texture of this product is thick creamy which spreads easily. Because of its creamy texture you only need a pea size amount to apply on your face. Too much product can make your face more glittery which will look unnatural.
As this particular shade is more on bronze side so i would like it in place of blusher as well to get peachy glow. This shade will look pretty good on our Asian tones and will suit the darker tones as well. Once applied it dries quickly so be sure to blend it fast because once dried it will not spread easily. The good thing about this illuminator is it doesn't budge once dried so stays pretty long on the skin. You can use it with fingers or stippling brush as you like but i prefer using fingers because of fast drying fact it can dry on the bristles of brush.
This illuminator can be used in multiple ways. You can use it before applying foundation or mix it with any foundation to get equally glowing face. This way is perfect for winters when you need a glowing effect to cover the dullness because of cold. Other then that apply very lightly on cheek bones, brow bones and other highlighting areas for subtle strobing effect. Because of its thick creamy texture and completely drying formula i also prefer to use it as cream eyeshadow. After the basic makeup put this illuminator on eyelids and you can get perfect glamorous eye look.
Overall i really love using this product and trying it in different ways. The shade is beautiful, have nice texture and quick drying formula.
