Colourpop Lippie Stix and Pencil Left to Right LBB, LBB, Dukes, Chateau, Bossy, Trust Me, Bound, Cami, Skimpy and Cookie
This set of 5 Lippie Stix and pencils come in silver cardboard box while the duo ended product is inhabited in white color plastic tubes and capes. Their inner twist-able part and small ring represent the shade of products. Both ends have name written on their sides. Coming to the formula overall pencils and stix have soft, creamy texture which applies smoothly without tugging or enhancing the dry patches. However for the same reason they are prone to break quickly if handled carelessly specially pencils. They have very light vanilla smell which is almost negligible.
Hot to Trot Lippie To Go set covers the Neutrals, Pinks, Plums/Violets and Reds. So it is ideal pick for some one who loves to wear different shades. There are miner differences in texture and lasting factors depending on shades so let me share my thoughts on individual product.
Cookie Stix: Defined as matte warm brown nude is very light peach shade and is not flattering on our Asian tones but it pairs very well with the Cookie pencil and if applied both, they look quite good on all skin. The texture is creamy and have very good pigmentation. The formula is bit drying over time and have lasting power for over 4 hours fading without any stain.
Skimpy Pencil: Defined as Bare it all with this soft pinky nude is perfect neutral shade for all skin. It is shade dark then Cookie and is on brown side then peach. The soft creamy formula glides easily and have very good pigmentation.
Cami Stix: Defined as Matte X cool-toned mauve is medium rosy plum shade perfect for every day neutral looks and is suitable for all skin tones. The texture is smooth and easy to apply with great pigmentation. The lasting power is very good and can last over 5 hours. It is also bit drying over time and can accentuate the natural texture of lips.
Bound Pencil: Defined as matte muted mauve and is a shade darker then Cami and is one more perfect neutral for all skin tones. The texture is soft, creamy and have very good pigmentation.
LBB Stix: Define as matte rich plum wine and is a lovely berry shade. The formula have velvety smooth texture which applies beautifully with great pigmentation. The finish is satin at first and doesn't accentuate lip lines like Cami and Cookie but becomes more matte after some time. The lasting power is very good and does leave a little stain behind.
LBB Pencil: Defined as matte rich plum wine and is similar as LBB Stix. The formula is bit more matte then Stix but overall similar to it.
Trust Me Stix: Defined as Matte X vivid true red is a bright red shade and supposed to be the dupe for MAC Ruby woo. The texture is creamy and glides easily having intense pigmentation. The finish is satin and becomes matte after a while. It lasts for 4 to 5 hours and becomes bit drying.
Bossy Pencil: Defined as matte classic blue red is cool tone red and a bit shade darker then Trust me. It is highly pigmented with matte creamy texture.
Chateau Stix: Defined as Matte X blackened red is a warm deep burgundy with intense pigmentation and smooth texture. It glides easily and provides even coverage. With matte finish it is very long lasting and is bit drying over time as well like others.
Dukes Pencil: Defined as matte dark blackberry is dark burgundy with a shade dark then Chateau. It is a part of fall 2016 collection. It is highly pigmented with matte finish.
Overall lippie stix are light weight and bit drying over time but very long lasting. Creamy texture is easy to glide and gives even coverage with very good pigmentation. If you have very dry lips then you might struggle with wearing them for long time but it is nothing a good lip balm cannot cover. For the price, pigmentation and lasting power, i totally loved them.
