Makeup Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation - Review
Stick foundations are very handy some times as they are quick fix and can be used as concealers as they have thick consistency and are perfect for full coverage on special events. I reviewed Kryolan Tv paint stick few years ago and that is one of the most famous post on my blog. I still get a lot of comments asking about their shades and recommendations. However Krylon paint stick is very thick and can be tricky to use for some. On top of that, its price has become too high. Though i still love to use my paint stick as it can last like forever, i am trying new options as well. so in this hunt, i am going to review Makeup Revolution fast base stick. Let me tell you, if it is any good or not.

This stick foundation comes in light beige color packaging with twist up functionality like a lipstick or like any other stick foundation. You can apply the product directly on your skin and then blend it with sponge, brush or fingers as you like. The formula is thick creamy but melts when you will start blending it. It is less thicker then Krylon Tv paint stick. Depending on the way you apply it, coverage can be medium to full. However it is not very matte and gives you a satin finish unlike Tv paint stick which is very drying and matte.

For the full coverage, i like to blend it with Sigma 3DHD blender. The best way is to apply the stick on all parts of face and press it with damp sponge. The finish depends on, how you apply the strokes. The trick is press it little and lightly stroke on outwards. This way you will get full coverage with most natural looking way. However for regular use, i like to apply with fingers. Simply dot it on few areas and melt the foundation with fingers, slightly pressing and blending properly. It is the quickest way and you will get medium, everyday natural look without being cakey.

As i said earlier it is less drying then Krylon stick and is more creamy and satiny. For same reason, it doesn't cling to dry patches if you have any. It is also easy to blend and doesn't dry quickly. This fact makes it more good option for dry, combination skins. However oily skins might need to apply a good primer for long lasting makeup. Though a good setting spray is a good option for every skin. It is also lightweight and breathable. I also liked its lasting power as it stays for more then 6 hours and doesn't crease like Tv paint stick.

Overall i like this foundation very much and reach for it now more often then my Krylon Tv Paint stick. It is highly pigmented, creamy, easy to apply and have non drying formula. If you are looking for a good foundation paint stick then i will recommend this one.
