Today i am going to review Sleek Makeup Base Duo kit which i bought in shade Oatmeal which is light shade with yellow undertones. I have bought it few months ago and have used it quite often since then. Sleek offers a wide range of shades in this foundation which are suitable for almost every skin color around the world which is really appreciable. They even offers their testers so you can see which shade is perfect for you before buying full product. Lets see how this base worked for me.

My Thoughts
Starting from the packaging this base comes in matte black plastic square box which have two parts. The top part contains Semi-translucent finishing powder with front mirror and the second part contains cream foundation which also have front mirror. The packaging is compact but is little bulky. The shade i got is called Oatmeal which is perfect for light skin or NC25.

The texture of foundation is thick creamy which is easy to blend with fingers or beauty blender. Once blended it is very light weight on the skin compared to any other cream or stick foundation. As it contains Jojoba oil and Vitamin E it doesn't dry out the skin and spread very smoothly. The coverage is quite natural on the skin and doesn't look cakey or patchy. It does not provide full coverage however and if you have very dark circles, acne marks or spots you need to cover them with any good concealer. As it provide medium coverage it can be used for every day, we have not faced any breakout on combination skin but cannot be sure for very oily skin.

The texture of powder is not very soft but not very hard to be afraid of. I would suggest it to use with dry sponge on top of your cream foundation to set it properly. The powder looks more light in the pan but have more yellow undertone then foundation and on application it looks perfect on this cream foundation. As the foundation gives semi matte finish this powder provide full matte finish and makes the foundation more lasting and shine free.

Overall if you are looking for medium coverage foundation i would highly recommend this two in one kit. You can wear both products or any single as you desire.
