Light, nude and brown colors always attract me more then bold and bright colors when it comes to lip products. Recently i have picked Essence XXXL Long Lasting Matt Effect Lip Gloss in soft nude and wearing it most of the time. Essence offer great range of products with very reasonable price and most of their products are really good. Lets see if this lip gloss is worth buying or not.

My Thoughts
This lip gloss comes in sleek glass tube and long handle with flat applicator. Some might find using this applicator bit uneasy because it is tricky to get even application with it. The texture of product is very smooth and creamy which glides effortlessly on lips. The finish is no doubt matte. It has very noticeable smell of vanilla which can be bothering for some but after application fades away.

I have this lip gloss in shade soft nude which is very pigmented and is nice every day color. It provides reasonable moisture to lips but if you have too dry or chapped lips you might need exfoliation and moisturizing prior using it as it will enhance lip lines. Product claims to be long lasting but i found it an average lasting. It will stay 2 to 3 hours without eating and drinking. However it fades evenly without leaving any tint. Besides being matte it does not dry my lips which is plus for this product.

Overall Essence XXXL Long Lasting Matt Effect Lip Gloss is good for everyday use when you need light weight, neutral shade with matte finish lip color.
