L.A. Colors Chunky Lip Pencil, Pout Lip Gloss Matte and Super Shine - Review and Swatches

L.A. Colors is one of the most budget friendly makeup brand but i have tried only their jumbo pencil in sea shell which is still my favorite. They have very good range of products and recently i have picked three different lip products to try including chunky lip pencil, pout lip gloss matte and super shine. All of them are priced less then $2 which is quite amazing. Let me tell you if the quality is as good as their price or not.
This lip pencil have soft creamy formula which delivers intense color while having moisturizing effect.
This lip gloss adds shine and volume to lips making them look fuller.

My Thoughts
The packaging of Pout lip gloss is really cute for both matte and glossy. They come in small glass round pot with flat doe applicator which is perfect to get precise application and is better then tapered foot applicators. The matte gloss have black cap and super shine have white cap. The scent of both products is almost negligible and you can ignore it easily. On the other hand chunky pencil comes in retractable tube which is perfect for such products. The color of tube represents the color of product inside. The pencil have typical vanilla smell which is common is such pencils.

I have picked Pout lip gloss matte in Delectable which is a lovely medium coral shade and leans toward pink then orange. The texture is bit more then thin which is easy to apply evenly. The pigmentation is really good and in one swipe you can get fully opaque color. The good thing about this product is that it is not very drying in first application and is very comfortable to wear which is better then L.A. Girl matte pigment gloss. However it have tendency to flake if layered. So it is better to apply in one layer and if you want more layers wait for it to dry completely. It takes time to dry and you have to keep your lips from smacking or rubbing together in mean time to avoid uneven finish which is basic rule to apply matte lipsticks. Once you have achieved an even finish this lip gloss stays pretty long and is very light weight on lips. With single layer this shade is very pretty pink coral shade but with multi layers it gives a little neon touch. The lasting power is more then 5 hours without eating or drinking. With greasy food it tends to fade from inside lips.

The shade in Pout lip gloss super shine which i picked called Juicy. It is a lovely melon shade with slight orange hues. The texture is thick creamy and is very similar to Sleek Makeup glossed lip gloss or Sigma beauty lip vex. This lip gloss have medium coverage with very shiny finish. I loved it o wear alone or top it with any other matte lip products. It is light weight and very comfortable to wear. The lasting power is almost two hours with out eating or drinking. It is bit moisturizing and doesn't make lips dry after fading.

The chunky lip pencil is one of my favorite and the color i picked, rose is a beautiful mauve shade which is bit lighter then tube shade. The texture is soft creamy with shiny finish. It is moisturizing and very comfortable. The pigmentation is very good as well and with few swipes you get fully opaqued color. The lasting power is more then three hours without eating or drinking. I have tried few of such products before including Jordana twist & shine balm and Wet n wild mega slick balm which have almost similar formula. These type of products are perfect for every day and are easy to apply, moisturizing and light weight.

Overall all three products are amazing for their price. They have good quality and are definitely worth trying. I am definitely going to pick more shades in these range.
