Product description
Brand claims that this primer create the perfect canvas which minimizes pores and preps skin for better looking makeup.
The primers comes in matte pastel pink squeezable tube with screw cap. The packaging is cute and travel friendly. The first thing i noticed when i received it was the size, it is only 25 grams and for the price, it think it is pricey for a drugstore brand. Coming towards the texture, the primer has white smooth creamy formula which glides easily. There is noticeable scent which is not bad but if you are looking for fragrance free option, this is not for you.
It is silicon based formula and slips on skin comfortably and yet doesn't give greasy feeling. After application, it sinks in skin making it smooth. It is a mattifying primer but doesn't dry your skin. However if you have dry patches or dry skin, it is better to moisturize before applying any primer. As i have dry skin, i always look for makeup which doesn't dry my skin and gives natural finish instead of flat matte. This primer did that and i liked it for this. However, because of hot summers, i have some pores around my nose and i wanted them to be blur. This primer was not good enough to blur them so i had to use it with combination of setting powder and spray.
It helps keep your makeup in place for longer though but it also depends on the foundation type you are using. It worked great with ColourPop No Filter Foundation Stix and i love to finish the look with ColourPop All Star Face Setting Spray. and ColourPop No Filter Loose Setting Powder. This combination is working great for me in this summers.
Overall it is an OK primer and you should pick it, if you need smooth skin and lasting makeup. However if you want it to blur your pores, then it is not the best option out there.
