Product description
These ultra blotted lip products have medium coverage with matte finish which creates a soft, diffused look.
The packaging of these blotted lips are slightly chubby to ColourPop regular tubes but the rest of it similar, a transparent tube with silver cap and doe foot applicator. There is no noticeable smell to them. The texture of both lipsticks is different like the rest of their lip products, however the pigmentation is quite good considering they are sheer coverage products.
Doozy is defined as warm rose and it is a lovely medium nude shade which will suit to all skin tones in my opinion. It's texture is thick creamy which applies smoothly. It provide matte finish but doesn't dry out instantly and give you enough time to even out the look. Bit-O Sunny is described as bright cherry red and gives little berry hues on my lips. It's texture is also creamy but is on thinner side. It doesn't apply as smoothly as doozy and to get even finish, you have to struggle bit.
As it has sheer formula, layering it, is not ideal. On doozy you can swipe one more layer however on Bit-O sunny, second layer will become patchy. The lasting power is more then 4 hours and Bit-O sunny leaves an light tint behind. The good thing about them is that they are very light weight and doesn't feel as dry as other matte lipsticks. They are not completely transfer proof but that is very slight. You can top it with lip balm or wear beneath it.
Overall i really liked these both shades and their formula. They are comfortable to wear and doesn't dry out lips like ultra mattes. I loved their sheer coverage and they are perfect for every day look. The only issue is slight uneven finish, they provide which you need a little time to adjust.
