elf is one of my favorite budget friendly makeup brand along with wet n wild. They not only provide wide range of products but the quality is also compatible with other expensive ones. Though i have always stayed away form their foundation and concealers due to not having very good reviews but their recent addition have intrigued me and for right reasons. Talking about their new camo concealer which is being loved by many. so let me tell you more about it.

Product description

This concealer is claimed to have crease proof formula which can provide matte finish with16 hour full coverage. It doesn't set in lines and is moisturizing with avocado oil while control shine with Kaolin clay.

My Thoughts

The packaging is simple tube with wide doe foot applicator which is sturdy and easy to use. The texture is bit on thicker side which is good for concealer as you mostly want spot treatment and full coverage from concealers. For the price the quantity is pretty good and is compatible with my favorite pocket friendly Wet n Wild photo focus concealer and Maybelline fit me concealer. The shade range is also good with consideration of different skin tones and you can definitely find one for yourself.

There is no doubt the coverage is intense and it does hide imperfections pretty good. It also doesn't slid off easily in this hot weather and does stay up for at least 7 to 8 hours which i have tested at least. The finish is matte and it is quite good option for oily skin no doubt and that bring us to the problem for creasing. As it is matte and thick, it does settle under eye lines and laugh lines, if you have them. Having dry skin, i do face such issues from the matte products. May be that's the reason elf have introduced its hydrating version.

However it is not totally useless for dry and mature skins. All you have to do is prep your skin pretty good. Always apply good hydrating cream before makeup application and exfoliation also make skin more smooth and plump. The eye cream definitely help in keeping that delicate skin of your eyes, moisturized and the concealer applied on top doesn't look caky or settle in lines easily. Also do not forget to set the concealer with setting powder.

Overall this concealer is amazing no doubt for hiding all imperfections and does last very very long. It is definitely recommended for all skin who are struggling to find good concealer which last long, doesn't shine and is easy on pocket. Just for dry and mature skin, prep your skin before application with hydrating creams and set after application with powder.
