This liquid highlighter comes in small plastic tube with brush applicator attached to black screw cap. The texture of this product is moderate creamy which is not very thick like NYX illuminator or very thin like Makeup Revolution the one liquid blusher. It spreads and blends easily but tends to dry quickly so you have to be fast to blend it in your desired coverage. It is very opaque and only little amount is enough to apply on your cheeks.
Afterglow is a combination of champagne and pink pearlescent shade. So far i had not tried any pink highlighter as it is not a flattering shade for our Asian skin tones but for my surprise this combination is one amazing shade which will look beautiful on every skin tone. It is not a glittery shade and upon blending gives beautiful and natural shimmery look. Once dried it doesn't move easily and stay put on skin for very long without enhancing open pores like mostly powder highlighters do.
Dot this product on your skin with brush applicator and blend it lightly with fingers of stippling brush. If applying face powder is in your routine makeup then make sure to apply it before application of powder other wise it will be difficult to blend it. You can also mix it with your foundation to get subtle glowy effect on whole face. It can also be used as an eye shadow on eye lids or highlighting brow bone.
Overall Afterglow highlighter is a lovely shade which will suit all skin types and gives natural finish. The smooth texture and quick drying formula is perfect for summers.
