Matte, long lasting liquid lipsticks have become one most raved and loved trend among makeup lovers and almost every brand have their own formula to offer in this category. You can find this kind of formula from drug store to high end brand suiting your budget. They claims to provide long lasting product with matte finish which differs from brand to brand. Some might full fill what they say and other can be disappointing. Today i am going to review Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick in shade Peach Club which is not new but i have recently got my hands on this beauty. Lets find out how it turned out.

My Thoughts
This liquid lipstick comes in beautiful rectangular transparent plastic tube with cap similar in shade as product. It has slanted doe foot applicator which applies and spread product perfectly on lips. Coming towards texture i must say this is the most comfortable formula i have wore after Make Revolution ultra valour lip creams. It is extremely light weight and once it dries you can not feel its presence much.

The soft creamy texture applies and spreads smoothly giving an even coverage to lips. It is highly pigmented but you can get your desired shade intensity from single to multiple layers. Once applied it dries on lips in few minutes but feels velvety smooth and not like other matte liquid lipstick such as L.A Girl Matte Pigments Gloss. They turn instantly dry while you are applying and gives the stretchy feel to lips but this is not the case with this one. Once it dries you can apply second layer to make it look more intense.

The shade Peach Club is medium peach shade with slight pink hues which is described as discreet pale orange tone. It is not neon shade but not entirely falls in the category of warm tones. One layer gives you a lovely peachy lips but more will add coral touch. The staying power is incredible as well, it stays whole day on my lips surviving eating and drinking. Considering it is not an extremely drying formula it does transfer a little bit which is not very bad. It doesn't fade badly either. After a whole day i noticed a little fading from inside my lips but it is not like flaking leaves and you can still manage to even it with rubbing your lips together. It also does leave a stain behind which stays more long.

Overall if you are looking for comfortable formula in liquid lipsticks then this is the one. It is highly pigmented, stays whole day and gives velvety matte finish with even coverage.
