My love for face masks is not hidden from my readers. They not only provide multiple effects to your skin but is perfect reason to get some me time. When talking about masks, Freeman masks are my most favorites as they have wide range of masks available for different skins and their colorful packaging always force my to reach out to their counter and pick one or two every time i visit stores. Today i am going to talk about my experience on Freeman Detoxifying Charcoal + Black Sugar Mud Mask which is a different version of Freeman Charcoal and Black Sugar Polishing Mask which is still one of my most favorite.

My Thoughts
As usual the packaging of this mask is squeezable tube with flip cap. This sort of packaging sometimes bother me when the product have runny consistency but for mud mask, it is perfect. The mask have dark grey color indicating its charcoal and black sugar ingredients. It is very similar to L'Oreal pure clay mask in Detox and somewhat have similar effect. So it is great pick for the ones who do not want to spend big amount on expensive charcoal masks.

This mask have thick and smooth texture as it claims. Thick texture can be little tricky to apply on face so you can dilute it little with rose water or plain water for even application. It has typical herbal smell which is common in charcoal products. It is not empowering and doesn't bother while application. As it is mud mask, it completely dries down in 10 to 15 minutes but try to apply thin layer of mask so it can dry quickly or you have to wait more. You can wash it off with plain water or remove it with wash cloth.

The first thing after removing it, i noticed is that it left the skin very clean and glowing. As charcoal beauty products are quite famous for their quick effectiveness, it didn't disappoint as well. Skin feels more smooth and soft to touch afterwards and i can say that i does remove impurities from with in skin. As it is for normal to combination skin, dry skin might feel it bit drying. It is not very drying and with good moisturizer all skin can use this mask.

Overall this mask is really very good which is easy to apply and remove. It leaves the skin soft, smooth, glowing and extremely clean. It remained my favorite companion in summers and if you want to try any good charcoal mask then you must try it.
